AUGMENTED REALITY ARTIST PERFORMANCE

Demo of lifelike interactive digital artist performance. This demo showcases one of the immediate possible applications for Augmented & Mixed Reality. As the Head of Design and 3D Animation at Octosense AR We have brought to life a highly realistic, detailed character who performs, while being rendered purely in real time on untethered mobile devices: smartphone and Hololens Augmented reality headset.

Brief:

Since its founding, Octosense AR has focused on breaking boundaries, surpassing limitations and redefining possibilities of real-time AR / VR experiences. We develop solutions for the challenges associated with creating a true living, breathing, mixed reality. This is the introduction of realistic 3D digital content extensions and effects, as well as naturally moving, lifelike interactive characters into users’ physical world in real time.

Illustrations can turn an average website into something really unique, something which identifies and communicates the brand message.

It seems that in the real world of web design, illustration tends to perform both functions at one time. It beautifies while it clarifies.

As Creative Director the message I and the team wanted to deliver is Realism in Augmented Reality  so we chose for a realistic approach using digital painting to illustrate augmented reality use cases where there is a seamless integration of the computer-generated imagery and the real environment.

We illustrated Augmented reality numerous applications like gaming, tourism, education and entertainment and that the technology is becoming more accessible and easier to use.

AR is absolutely going to be a massively used technology as we progress into the future. Octosense prediction is that AR will become such an integral part of our lives, that it will change the way we interact with the world around us. 

Smoodji is an Augmented Reality application that allows you to create customized 3d emoji with your own voice, mouth and eyes and place them in the real world, make videos and share with you friend. I was the Character Animation supervisor on this cool project. Smoodji AR
